The Islamic Wealth Advisory content on this website — covering Zakat, Shariah-compliant investing, Takaful, Faraid, Wasiat, Hibah, and Waqaf — is provided for educational and awareness purposes only. It does not constitute religious rulings (fatwas), legal advice, or personalised financial advice.
All religious references on Zakat eligibility, Nisab thresholds, Haul periods, CPF Zakat exemptions, Faraid distribution, and CPF nominations are based on published guidance from the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS), including fatwas issued by the MUIS Fatwa Committee. These references are provided in good faith for educational purposes — readers must consult MUIS, a Syariah lawyer, or a qualified Islamic scholar for rulings applicable to their personal circumstances.
Faraid distribution examples shown in charts and calculators are illustrative only. Actual Faraid shares depend on the specific composition of heirs and applicable legal determinations by the Syariah Court. The Zakat calculator provides an indicative estimate only; actual Zakat obligations should be confirmed through MUIS or a qualified Zakat advisor.
Islamic wealth advisory services are provided by Financial Alliance Pte Ltd (FAiWA division) in conjunction with qualified Shariah advisors. All Islamic investment recommendations are subject to the oversight of Financial Alliance's Shariah committee. Product suitability remains subject to individual financial circumstances and full financial planning consultation.
Information on Advance Care Planning (ACP), the Advance Medical Directive (AMD), and the Nominated Healthcare Spokesperson (NHS) on this website is provided for educational and awareness purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, legal advice, or a substitute for a formal ACP discussion with a trained ACP Facilitator.
References to ACP processes, types (General, Disease-Specific, Preferred Plan of Care), documentation in the National Electronic Health Record (NEHR), and the role of ACP Facilitators are based on the national ACP framework administered by the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC). Readers are strongly encouraged to begin a formal ACP conversation through an AIC-trained Facilitator at a hospital, polyclinic, or community partner.
ACP is a voluntary process and is not legally binding; it serves as moral guidance to your loved ones and healthcare providers. The Advance Medical Directive (AMD), in contrast, is a legally binding document under the Advance Medical Directive Act (Cap. 4A), applicable only when a person is terminally ill and unable to make decisions. The Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) under the Mental Capacity Act is a separate legal instrument addressing general decision-making authority during incapacity. These three instruments work together but serve distinct legal purposes.
For an official ACP consultation, visit the Agency for Integrated Care at aic.sg/care-services/advance-care-planning or speak with an AIC-trained ACP Facilitator at any participating hospital, polyclinic, or community partner. For Advance Medical Directive registration, visit the Ministry of Health AMD page.
